More Space for Growth – Schauenburg establishes 2nd manufacturing facility in Kempton Park

Schauenburg Systems has established a new manufacturing facility at their Head Office in Kempton Park.

The facility was created to allow Schauenburg its expansion into mines’ growing request for high-tech products in the fields of safety and productivity. It also allows the company to fulfil the Mining Charter’s requirement regarding increased local content of products. The production, warehouse and quality inspection facilities that take up nearly 1000m², have been set up and designed for maximum productivity and ease of process flow. At our Rustenburg branch we have recently established a Training Centre to skill up our technical employees to the rising requirements of products and services.

Schauenburg Systems provides technology solutions for enhanced safety and productivity in mining. By pooling vast internal engineering expertise and access to external competence, it executes its brand promise of “Innovation that Saves”. The spend on R+D and digitalisation has been constantly raised over the last years. This is how it could position itself as an active partner for digital transformation like for the upcoming requirements of the “Connected Worker”.

The company’s vision is to become a leading data-driven company in the fields of Industry 4.0. The new facility will form part of Schauenburg’s pilot project to become paperless in the entire value-chain from warehousing to manufacturing, quality management and final deliveries to customers.
