Stratosat West and East Africa

 

 

Stratosat West Africa is ramping up local stock levels on all our VSAT ranges. The appointed Managing Director of the operation, Hendi van der Merwe will be happy to provide you with detailed quotations on any of our VSAT and larger SATCOM lines. We are proud to announce the incorporation of Stratosat Datacom East Africa into the Stratosat group of companies. Our east Africa operation will focus on the distribution of our mainline products into Kenya and the eastern Africa countries. Our main focus will be to provide value added solutions. Through stocking and logistical support on the VSAT product lines to the various operators active in the region.

IDirect Master Distributor

 

 

Stratosat Datacom was recently appointed as one of the master distribution in the world. Our main focus would be the in country stocking and the mass distribution of iDirect remote terminals in the African continent. Stratosat is proud on the partnership with iDirect and work very closely with them to grow the African market on their range of products.

Recent Successes

  • Stratosat Datacom supplied various 4.8 meter and 7.3 meter Vertex RSI Antennas through African Union Communications for the 2010 World Cup Satellite network to be implemented and managed by Sentech.

  • Stratosat recently supplied their second AVL 1.2 meter Auto Tracking Antenna to a local disaster vehicle manufacturer. The AVL Antenna will be used to provide real time connectivity at any disaster where the vehicle is operational.

  • Stratosat Datacom supplied an iDirect VSAT Hub to local DTH Company that will
    enable them to monitor and manage all their remote transmission sites operational throughout Africa.

  • Stratosat recently signed a contract with a local South Africa integrator Mobax
    Telecoms to provide quantity 3 x 7.3 meter uplink Antennas for a GSM company in Tanzania.
